Ippudo

A bowl of ramen at Ippudo in Kyoto is perhaps as close as you can get to heaven in a bowl. There’s just something so magical about the broth, perfect texture of the noodles and melt in your mouth pork. If you are very hungry, go for the deal with pan-friend gyoza, you won’t regret it.

Ippudo can be found all over the world, in Shanghai, New York City, London. And I’ve tried it also in all these places. I’ve also tried it in Fukuoka, where Ippudo (and this type of ramen style) was born. But while they all taste good, for some reason they don’t fully match up to the bowls served in Kyoto.
