Iguazu Falls

Iguazu Falls is the most impressive waterfall destination in the world. Niagra, Victoria and all of the amazing waterfalls in Iceland just can’t stack up to the epic 280 cascades that live in the middle of a jungle. You have to visit both sides- Brazilian and Argentinian sides. From Brazil you’ll get better panoramic views while the Argentinian side offers deeper feeling.

Quick Tips

The Plan

  • Ideally, you should visit both sides, spending 1 day on the Brazilian side and 1 day in the Argentinian side

  • Helicopter ride (only on the Brazilian side) is a must for amazing panoramic views from above

  • Gran Adventura boat ride from the Argentinian side is one of the best experiences and seeing the falls from water level is amazing. If walking down steep steps is difficult for you, then do the boat ride from the Brazilian side.

  • There is a lot more walking on the Argentinian side

  • 80% of the falls are on the Argentinian side, hence why the views from Brazil may be more panoramic

  • 3 tablespoons chipotle hot sauce, plus more for serving

  • 4 (1/2-inch thick) slices ciabatta, cut into triangles
